| Bio: | Prince Imrahil Adrahilion Swanhelm, lord of Dol Amroth, Belfalas, and Dor-en-Ernil. The father of four, Elphir, Erchirion, Amrothos, and Lothiriel, and proud grandfather of two, Alphros and Aeriel. Lord Imrahil is considered by some to be one of the finest princes Dol Amroth can remembered. They obviously do not remember the last prince very well, because Imrahil's father considered him something of a libertine (or a rakehell, at least) in his pre-princedom days, though he says they're long behind him now. He is exceedingly brave, highly opinionated, well-experienced in both war and statesmanship, and prides himself on having good suggestions for about every occasion. He is highly charismatic, a remarkable leader of men both on and off the battlefield, with the rare gift to hearten others merely by showing up. Imrahil is very political, not for any desire from power, but because he wants to further the interests of people. He is very interested in rebuilding his coastal cities, and in making his lands basically the best place in all of Gondor to be, with the best trading conditions, the fewest taxes, the cleanest cities.... you get the idea. He enjoys giving the king advice, and while he doesn't enjoy sitting in on the council of nobles, he likes scorning them all and putting his boots on the table when people get uncontrollably dull. Imrahil retains some eccentricities, hangovers of his youthful days; while he has entirely given up laudanum and smoking (no, really! he has!), he is an astounding drinker, fond of reading bad fiction, playing cards, and sneaking out of his office on slow days to wander around his city (and his youthful haunts) in absurd disguises. He loves horses and the sea about equally, with his horse getting slight preference because she will complain if he doesn't visit her, and the sea will not. He often forgets he isn't still a young man, as anyone who has gone horseback riding with him will discover when he decides it would be fun to have a race or jump a fence. When he has put on his Prince Face, he is very noble and courteous; when he's relaxing, he can be a little... well, coarse. But Imrahil has a good heart, and is fiercely angered by injustices, large or small, a trait he has passed to his sons. While age has mellowed him out severely, he retains a spark of dangerous keenness that all enemies of Gondor should fear.
